How to keep your makeup organized

Keeping your makeup organized is so important! It keeps everything in good condition and makes it easier to find and know what you have to use while making yourself ready.
Here are some of the ways I keep my makeup organized:

The main thing is to get a decent size dressing table for the amount of makeup you own. Mine is from IKEA and I love it! I use a kitchen utensil holder to keep everything in different compartments so they are easy to find.

Acrylic lipstick holders are amazing to display your lipsticks and make it easy for you to grab them as you need them. These are available online I got mine off ebay they are great!

These are actually Candle holders & tooth brush holders that I bought from Dunelm. I filled them up with coloured sand so when I stick my brushes in they would not move about and look untidy. It is great to be able to see all your brushes and take them out and stick them back in as you need.

This is also from Dunelm and it is a box to keep Letters in but I thought it would be perfect to keep my everyday makeup palettes tidily on display.

Pretty little boxes like these are ideal to organize your Blushes, Highlighter, eyeshadows & glitter that you use everyday it makes it easy to find the ones you need to use and look nice on top of your dressing table. Both these boxes are from Dunelm.

Bits and bobs like Hair products, deodorants & Nailpolishes used to always annoy me because they look untidy and I never had anywhere to keep them! But I came up with these ideas to keep them organized:

My Nail polish holder is actually a spice rack which I bought off eBay for £10 so it was cheap and looks lovely up on my wall. (I have linked a similar one to mine)

I got the boxes to keep my products tidy from The Range and they are handy to be able to put them back on display on the wall instead of them taking up room on my vanity.

The best way to keep things organized is have places for everything to go and put them back every time you use them. Be creative while looking for items and think what you could keep in them even if they are not actually made for makeup. xo

Best Blue Contacts For Dark Brown Eyes

Having Naturally very dark brown eyes, it's always a struggle for me to buy colored contact lenses that
1. Cover the dark color
2. Look natural while doing so
I always like to change my look and have always wanted the perfect pair of blue contacts and i have FINALLY found them!! I have made a youtube video speaking in  depth about these lenses and giving you a close up of the colour because they look slightly different in pictures depending on the lighting, they sometimes look more blue or a icy grey depending if you take the picture with flash or not.
I found these beautiful contacts on Instagram and purchased them from www.prettyfabulouz.com I live in the UK and they shipped to me from overseas super quick i received them with in a week :)!

They are inexpensive and so comfortable to wear, I always wear them when I go out and I honestly can not tell that they are in there it's amazing.
One thing I love about these contacts is that they last 6 months! So you can wear them as much as you like in that time which is great! They are very comfortable to wear as well which for me is hard because most contacts irritate my eyes but after about 10 mins of wearing these I forget they are even in.
If you have dark brown eyes and are struggling to find a perfect pair of light colored contacts I highly recommend this brand!! The ones I am currently wearing are 'Bellamia Light grey' will definitely be trying other colors again soon! xo

Forever flawless

Four steps to flawless foundation EVERYTIME!

Underneath my makeup my skin is never flawless I have always suffered from having blemishes on my skin which means I've had to teach myself the best way to hide them!

Step.1: Skin prep
Prepping the skin is the most important part for a flawless finish. ALWAYS start with a clean face! Then add moisturizer (I recommend embryolisse). After moisturizer add a primer onto your T-zone then blend outwards Smashbox photo finish is amazing or a cheaper alternative is Maybelline Baby Skin!

Step 2: Conceal
A concealer with good coverage can work miracles on your skin! The best I have used so far is NARS creamy radience concealer it covers everything! I always like to apply a generous amount underneath the eyes as i do not apply foundation in that area. I go lighter on any other blemishes because i do not want to look cakey once the foundation goes on. (Remember to blend foundation upwards into the undereye concealer for a seamless look)

Step 3: Foundation
There are two things I swear by when it comes to putting on my foundation!
I literally could not do my makeup without these two pieces I love them and create an airbrushed finish without fail! I use the F80 to apply my foundation (my favorite at the moment is smashbox studio skin or drugstore revlon photo ready) then blend it all out by pushing it into the skin with the Beauty Blender. Always add your foundation gradually, and build up to a coverage you feel comfortable with, its better than applying too much foundation on your face and trying to spread it around everywhere without it looking cakey. Always start light and build up to full coverage!

Final step: Baking
Bake the under eye area, chin, forehead & bridge of the nose. Apply very generous amount of setting powder onto these areas I usually apply them with my Beauty blender Laura mercier translucent & Ben nye banana powder are two of the best setting powders i have used so far (Collection 2000 translucent powder as a cheaper alternative)! Leave sit for a good 10 munites (I usually do my eye makeup while I'm waiting) then buff out with a fluffy brush untill smooth! I swear by this, makes my face look FLAWLESS in photos and in person! Then spray a generous amount of MAC Fix+ (ELF setting spray as a cheaper alternative) Onto your skin to get rid of the powdery look and give your skin a nice dewy finish!
